[Real Parties In Interest: Church of Scientology International Office of Special Affairs; Kendrick L. Moxon, Esq.; Helena Kobrin, Esq.; Ava Paquette, Esq.; Elliot Abelson, Esq.; Samuel D. Rosen, Esq.; Donald Wager, Esq.; Thomas Byrnes, Esq.; Eugene Ingram] Dear Mr. Hernandez: Thank you for taking the time to communicate directly with me yesterday afternoon. An hour with you was better than nine months with Ms.Goldade. If the "hierarchy" of the State Bar considers me to be showing contempt please reassure them that I am trying to conceal it. In that regard, you might want to draw their attention to overnight public comment now calling them the "Scientology State Bar!" Veteran civil rights attorney Stephen Yagman might say that a lawyer does not earn any litigation battle ribbons until sanctioned, sued and suspended in the pursuit of a just cause and case. I now have two out of the three criteria. I would be happy to forgo the third, but that is now out of my hands. The Church of Scientology closely resembles the structure and operation of the Taliban, Communist and Nazi movements. In that regard, scientology's founder adopted the teaching of Nazi propaganda minister Joseph P. Goebbels. Like Goebbels, L. Ron Hubbard teaches his followers to tell such a big lie, so complex and often, that it becomes the truth. As you know, and unlike the bar, others are focusing upon the criminal perpetrators here and not their victim. In talking with one such agency yesterday, and meeting with you, it became apparent that scientology's big lie needed a less complex historical analysis. Accordingly, I am taking several days to tell the story in a different manner and for a different audience. The first installment is enclosed for the benefit of you and Judge Talcott this afternoon. Very truly yours, Graham E. Berry Enclosure: Cc: Hon. Robert A.Talcott (also with copy Berry to Paquette letter, July 27,2001). Terri Goldade, Esq., (without enclosures).
